Your last name is Lopez? Congrats! It is part of the 4% percent of the Guatemalan population popular and nobody will take that place, at least in the coming years.

According to the National Registry of Persons o Registro Nacional de Personas (Renap), the second is for Last Name Perez (2.76%), third place García (2.01%), Hernandez (1.91%), then Morales (1.51%), Ramirez (1.28%), Gonzalez (1.21%), Gomez (1.15%), Vasquez (0.95%) and in tenth place for the surname Ramos (0.76%).



Here is represented a little less than 20% of the most popular surnames that are already registered in Guatemala.
